What is Veritake?
Veritake is a teleprompter for your iPhone. You read your script from the screen while you film yourself, and Voice Follow scrolls the text at your speaking pace.
How much does Veritake cost?
You get every feature for free, with no subscription, in-app purchases, or ads.
Do I need an account?
You can use Veritake without an account.
How does Voice Follow work?
Voice Follow listens while you speak and scrolls the text at your pace. When you pause, the text waits for you. Speech recognition uses Apple’s on-device AI, right on your iPhone.
Which languages does Voice Follow support?
You can use Voice Follow in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified) when Apple’s on-device speech recognition is available for the language on your iPhone. You can also set a steady reading speed, including for Arabic and Hindi. The app is available in 11 languages.
What happens to my scripts and recordings?
Veritake doesn’t use your data for AI training. Your scripts and recordings are processed and stored on your iPhone, protected by iOS encryption. It’s up to you what you export, share, or back up to iCloud.
How do I get my script into the app?
You can import scripts as TXT, RTF, or PDF from your iPhone, iCloud Drive, or any provider you’ve set up in the Files app, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. You can also copy text from another app and paste it into Veritake.
How do I get my videos out of the app?
Every video is its own file in your list. You can copy it to Photos, save it in the Files app, or export it to a video editing app such as iMovie.
Can I record in landscape?
Yes. Veritake supports portrait and landscape and saves your landscape take as a true landscape video.
Which iPhone do I need?
You need an iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
